The Men on Men art competition is an annual event held at the Laird and is all about celebrating masculinity. I submitted my June 2015 Self Portrait and was stoked to get an honorable mention! It was the biggest and most successful M.O.M Art competition to date, so even an honorable mention felt pretty special. There was a lot of great art on display, ranging from photography, to paintings to illustrations and even a totally rad crocheted piece. It was a great vibe, and getting to look at all the art while having a beer or two added to the fun. All in all a great event, showcasing local artists and giving them a platform to get their work seen… Thanks for letting me be a part of it guys!
